HERE IS INFORMATION ABOUT HOW THE SPECIES WORKS OVERALL
I ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ THIS IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE SPECIES!
.:+ GENERAL SØTSAKER INFORMATION +:.
So, first things first, what is a Søtsaker?
To clarify, "Søtsaker" is the Norwegian word for "Sweets", but a Søtsaker is basically like a pet!
They are toddler sized and may look akin cats, but they surprisingly share a lot of personality traits that a typical dog would have! They absolutely love cuddles, playtime, and sleeping around. They are loyal, energetic, quite clumsy, and can even learn tricks! Yet, with this, they might also tend to be really lazy like a normal cat can be.
They are made to taste like the flavor of the dessert/sweet their design is based off of! Though, don't try to eat them. Even if they only seem like pet companions, they have that of a humans intellegence (more so of the emotional intellegence), but often tend to avoid showing that side of themselves unless it's neccesary. This is because they prefer living life where they don't have to strain themselves too much, and would like to relax and have fun for the most part, as their nature is very happy-go-lucky.
.:+ MALES VS FEMALES +:.
The male gender in the species has fluffier fur, and is slightly bigger than the females. Though, keep in mind, that this is just how it usually is, and every Søtsaker is different. Some females can be bigger than males, and some males can be smaller than females. The males have a lot of strength and that tends to make them less afraid to step in and protect their friends if they are threatned/in danger. They are able to take down the largest dogs, with their agility and strength.
The female gender don't have any teeth, unless they happen to be a negative Søtsaker, so it will only turn into soft nibbling if they try to bite you. They also have less fluff in their fur, which makes it less frizzy, and makes it seem well groomed naturally. They tend to have a more delicate structured form, and being softer than the males because of lesser muscle mass.
.:+ SIAMESE TWINS +:.
Siamese twin Søtsakers are rare, but they do exist!
They are exactly the same as normal Søtsakers but cannot seperate from each other in any way.
They also share the halo above their head, which tends to be bigger than a halo on a single bodied Søtsaker. This is because, essentially, what would have been two seperate halos is now combined into one.
Therefore, as magic is stored in their halos (and other vital organs), they can perform stronger magic than a common Søtsaker would be able to. (See more information about this on "inner anatomy")
The sad part about Siamese twins- is that they are often excluded or frowned upon by the rest of the species. It's because of their resembelance to the Demon Gods, who also share this trait.
But even if they are excluded, they will never truely be alone, for they will always have eachother.
